The Ziebach County Historical Society’s SW Ziebach County Bus Tour has been rescheduled for the hopefully, nice, sunshiny day of Sunday, June 2, 2019.
We will depart from Dupree at 10 a.m., tour past the current site of the old Red Elm Depot, visit the old Arrowhead community site and then journey down to the Four Corners Bridge, and if possible, travel past the community of Bridger on the way to the new LTM Express for a lunch stop.
We will then travel to Red Scaffold, Little Ireland on the Till Ranch, and up Cherry Creek Trail arriving back in Dupree between 3:30 and 4:00 p.m. T
There will be lots and lots of history shared and many other sites pointed out along the way!
There is still a little room on the bus, so if this journey back in time intrigues you, call 365-6230 or contact one of the ZCHS Board members to reserve your spot.
Board members are Darla Vrooman, Robert & Kim Shannon, Twila Schuler, Dondra Menzel, Evelyn Anderson and Shawn Olsen. Bring along anything you need to make your ride more comfortable, a little cash for lunch (bottled water will be furnished) and be ready to be entertained and enlightened with some of Ziebach County’s Wild, Wild West stories. It will be fun!
