More Rain on the Way
The roads were good and muddy last week as it got cold enough to seem like late fall. Rev. Kurt Huber reported .45 inches of rain last week. We really needed it. We also had a pretty substantial frost event last week. We are likely to have a heat advisory and frost this coming week. Plus, there is a good chance that a low-pressure trough out of the Gulf of Alaska will bring us more wet weather.
Thursday will be mostly sunny with a morning low of 51°F and an afternoon high of 80°F. Winds will be shifting S-SSW-NW-NE-SE 9 mph to 14 mph. There is a 4% chance of rain. Watch out for patchy morning fog.
Friday is going to be hot, partly cloudy, and windy with a sunrise low of 52°F and an afternoon high of 87°F. Winds will be heavy, gusting SW 5 mph at sunrise to 25+ mph in the late afternoon. There is a 25% chance of rain in evening hours.
Saturday will be cloudy and wet with a high of 81°F and a late night low of 54°F. Winds will be gusting S-NW-NE 10 mph to 15 mph. There is a 48% chance of at least 0.1 inches of rain.
Sunday will be partly cloudy with a high of 73°F and a low of 50°F. Winds will be gusting NW-N 10 mph to 15 mph. There is a 46% chance of at least 0.08 inches of rain. Fog is likely.
Monday, Memorial Day, will be mostly cloudy with a morning low of 49°F and an afternoon high of 65°F. Winds will be gusting N-NW-N 11 mph to 16 mph. There is a 43% chance of rain. Fog is likely.
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a high of 61°F and a low of 44°F. Winds will be fairly steady NNW 10 to 18 mph. There is a 50% chance of early morning showers and a 25% chance of rain for the remainder of the day. Fog is likely.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a high of 62°F and a low of 44°F. Winds will be steady NW 15 mph to 10 mph. There is a 25% chance of morning showers and a 4% chance of afternoon/evening showers. Next Thursday is expected to be partly cloudy with a high of 68°F and a low of 48°F. Winds are expected to be gusting SW 10 mph to 15 mph. There is a 10% chance of rain.
