UE celebrates the season with annual concert

Upper Elementary presented “Christmas Traditions” on December 11, at the C-EB Upper Elementary gymnasium. Music Teacher Cheryl Ulmer provided music composition and directed students throughout the program.

The Lakota flag song was performed by the UE Flag Song Singers under the direction of Dewey Bad Warrior. Principal Cora Petersen opened the events with a welcome address.

Second graders performed “Decorate the Tree,” “The Night

Before Christmas,” “Nice, not Naughty” and “I saw Three Ships.”

Third graders performed “Joy to the World,” “My Favorite Things,” “Deck the Halls” and “Boogie-Woogie Holiday.”

The after-school dance group

performed to “All I Want for Christmas.”

Fourth graders performed “Joy To The World,” “Rock Around the Jingle Bells,” “Deck the Halls” and “Hark, Hear the Bells!”

Fifth graders performed “Feliz

Navidad,” “Believe” and “When the Holidays Come.”

A special chorus comprised of some fif th and sixth

graders performed the songs “Christmas Through the Eyes of a Child” and “Salsa Noel.”
