There are two cases of COVID-19 on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation, reported CRST Chairman Harold Frazier during his radio address today. The new cases bring the total number to eight, with four of the individuals categorized as recovered.
One of the new cases is “contained” and the individual was already in quarantine, said Frazier. Contact tracing is underway for the other case.
To date, 1,813 tests have been administered at the Cheyenne River Health Center in Eagle Butte and there are, 1,630 kits available, said the tribal leader.
