Tiospaye Topa welcomes Takini during homecoming week

On October 15-18, 2018, the Thunderhawks participated in a fun-filled week of Homecoming activities. Monday was Pajama Day/Beach Day, Tuesday was Spirit Day, Wednesday was Twin Day, and Thursday was Throw Back Thursday.

To kick off the week, Coronation was held on Monday, October 15 where King Jalen Guajardo and Queen Chloe Rivers were crowned including Prince Antonio Hawk and Princess Kaitlyn Smith.

A pep rally took place for the Lady Thunderhawk volleyball team and cross country team on Tuesday, October 16.  The senior class won the battle cry competition. The Homecoming volleyball game was held that night against the Bison, Cardinals which the Lady Thunderhawks came up short.

On Wednesday the Thunderhawks welcomed high school students from Takini to participate in homecoming activities.  Students were involved in a volleyball tournament and a fun game of flag football.

Homecoming was organized by Student Council members: 7th Grade Representatives Autumn Sansosti and Jaheida Two Crow, 8th Grade Representatives Stace LeCompte and Ashlynn Charger, Freshmen Representatives Kristyn Smith and Vetal Frazier, Sophomore Representatives Amiyah Different Horse and Juanita Romero, Junior Representatives Breanna LeCompte and Kaitlyn Smith, Senior Representatives Zakariah Zabadne and Kendall Charger. Student Council Advisers are Tammy Granados and Kelsie Lawrence.
