Mrs. Willison’s class studied Johnny Appleseed. Johnny Appleseed or also known as John Chapman brought apple seeds from Pennsylvania and planted them in the Midwest.
It is said that he would travel hundreds of miles to prune his orchards, which were scattered through the wilderness.
The students finished up the lesson by making homemade applesauce. Pictured here are the third grade students peeling their apples in a safe way.
