Schrempp descendants gather

Over 100 descendants of Arthur and Martha Schrempp came from near and far to celebrate the joy of family during a reunion at Whitlock Bay near Gettysburg over the July 4th weekend. The weather was perfect for the three day event, making it possible to enjoy many fun activities. Folks were accommodated in cabins, rooms, campsites, and trailers provided by the surrounding areas of Bob’s Resort, Brown’s, and South Whitlock with Brown’s Hunting Lodge serving as the main headquarters for the reunion. Along with an abundance of food and beverages, the families enjoyed a corn hole tournament, a beer pong tournament, Hammerschlage, a volleyball tournament, swimming and water fun, boating, fishing, trapshooting, fishing, slip and slide, a silent auction, numerous yard games, a scavenger hunt, and horseshoes, with a memorable time reported to be had by all.
