Richard Fiddler, Sr., 82, of Ft. Yates, passed away February 24, 2021, at his home.
A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 11 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Ft. Yates. Funeral services were at 10 a.m., March 5, 2021 at the church. Burial was at 3 p.m. the same day at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
Fiddler is survived by his children, eleven grandsons, seven granddaughters, and nineteen great grandchildren. Sisters Patsey Mathony, Faye Lawyer, Imogene Bullhead, Jeanette Jordan, Geraldine Agard, Gail Brave Crow, Etta Brave Crow, Dale Brave Crow, and Mable Brave Crow.
Preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia; parents Amy and Charles; brothers Kenneth, John and Gerald “Soup”; grandsons Thomas, Matthew and Nicholas.
