As a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, I am being denied equal due process and protection of law, specifically on the dates of August 25, 2021 and November 11, 2021, by the CRST Tribal Council.
These actions care being taken to protest my letter dated June 7, 2021 to the CRST Council on the issue of a Removal Hearing of a tribal judge, even though on January 9, 2020 the CRST Tribal Council approved a of motion to have a hearing to the CRST Law and Order Code Procedures.
Beware, CRST members. The tribal judge has ceded CRST’s jurisdiction to the State of Wyoming as referenced in the newspaper on April 26, 2018. So state court orders are being honored by the CRST Tribal Council as well.
The support shown to the tribal judge by the CRST Tribal Council reflects on their leadership. However, an individual tribal member or non-member does not possess the power or authority to cede a tribe’s jurisdiction without consent.
