Halloween Festivities

PHOTOS COURTESY OF THE CITY OF EAGLE BUTTE The City of Eagle Butte gave away over 800 pumpkins during the Second Annual Great Pumpkin Giveaway Event. The event was sponsored by the City of Eagle Butte, Four Bands Community Foundation and the State Bank of Eagle Butte. Headstart, daycares and shelters were included in the giveaway and deliveries were made to each location. Pumpkins were distributed to the general public from the City shop on Tuesday, October 26.

ShaKinley Lafferty’s face paint won for Best Face Make-Up. Shayna Farlee dressed as her dad, Shane Farlee, and won the Most Humorous category. Chloe Dupree took first place in the Most Original category with her toilet costume.

Izabbella Jeffries as a clown and Alan Lemke as a Michael Meyers movie character in the Scariest category.
