Chloe Gunville, a graduate of Cheyenne-Eagle Butte High School, is turning her focus back to her education.
Since the beginning of the year, Gunville has worked as the receptionist and travel coordinator in the tribal chairman’s office.
Gunville has decided to leave her position with the tribe and attend Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, KS.
Gunville plans to graduate with her degree in Environmental Science.
“I would tell our young people to persevere. You are not going to get it right the first time, and that’s ok. Get up, don’t give up, and work hard,” said Gunville.
