CRST Finance Department hosts festive events for staff

The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal Finance Department staff is sponsoring holiday festive activities throughout the month of December. On December 9, they held a ginger bread house contest with six participants entering their most delicious creations. Two of the entries were designed as tipis and one event had a miniature drum placed outside its entrance of the tipi.

On Wednesday, December 11, the department held a Christmas dinner with a holiday stocking exchange. On December 16, they will a homemade cookie and candy contest, and will have on an ugly sweater contest two days later on the 18th. To wrap up the month, the staff will celebrate December birthdays on the 19th.
