Change is everything

Change can come in many forms in our lives. Even though change is often difficult, it may also be for the best. When most people think about change, they often think about external stuff, like a new job or a new location.

In reality change starts with changing the way you see your life on a daily basis. Everyday and throughout their lives people have struggles. There are some who are a lot stronger than those who are on the verge of giving up.

The ones who are strong, they overcome doubts and fears with moral support. There are some who are very weak, with no faith and hope. I’d like to ask those who are losing faith and hope, “Do you continuously want to live your life in a dark place or would you rather have power to overcome your doubts and fears?”

If you do not have fears or doubts, then what makes you human? It is okay to live in fear. There are ways you can overcome those fears. Main thing to do is accept your fear. Find a way you can identify it, feel it, and face it. Over time, you can practice accepting and facing your fears.

Overcoming fears will not happen like snapping your fingers — these things take time — just like change. You may feel like people expect you to be perfect and have your life together. It is not easy on the reservation where there are not that many job openings.

Trust in yourself and have faith that there may be an opportunity for you to become the person you want to be. Be the kind of person you want to see yourself in the future. I’d like to think that nothing lasts forever, but it is good to have a positive mindset.

Nothing may stay the same, but one good thing that should remain is the heart that always remembers to stay strong and stay kind, stay good and stay humble, stay lovely and stay honest. If your heart feels like giving up, give it a rest or pause for a while, but never give up. Take each day slowly.
