C-EB performs Missoula Children Theater’s Rumpelstiltskin

Audiences are invited to join in the fun of Festival Time and help Clara guess a mischievous little gnome’s name when the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and over 50 C-EB students perform Rumpelstiltskin, an original musical adaptation of this classic tale.

The cast features Rumpelstiltskin, Clara, Queen Beatrice, the King and the Jester. Also featured are Wizards, Gnomes, and Knights. To complete the ensemble, students will appear as Villagers and as the busy Bees.  Students also serve as invaluable Assistant Directors throughout the week.

Throughout the week, the DI students and all 4th grade students will have a workshop related to theatre arts.  These hour long lessons are presented by MCT staff and are supported by funds from District 20-1.

Rumpelstiltskin will be presented on February 10 at 7:00 p.m. and Feb. 11 at 2:00 p.m. in the C-EB Auditorium. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for students, and will be available at the door.

This week is part of the Missoula Children’s Theatre’s unique international touring project and is presented locally by Cheyenne-Eagle Butte School.
