In a double-header Saturday, C-EB basketball fans gathered at noon to kick off a day of basketball against the Chamberlain Cubs.

The girls’ C team tipped the day off with a 29-26 win, but the boys’ C team lost 15-39.

The JV girls’ team chalked up another win for the day scoring 35 to the Cub’s 21 points.

The JV boys fought hard for a win, but lost in overtime 42-48.

JV player, Sunni Dupris, saves the ball, but her opponents snatch it.

According to the school calendar, JV girls and boys play at home Tiospaye Topa on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. respectively.

The boys’ basketball teams play Red Cloud beginning at 4:00 p.m. Friday.

On Saturday, the girls’ JV and Varsity teams play at home against Mobridge-Polluck at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Turnovers and missed baskets seem to be be the biggest challenge overall for C-EB boys’ and girls’ teams as their season gears up.
