C-EB girls improve to 9-1 after three wins over holiday break




The C-EB Braves girls basketball team improved to 9-1 after three consecutive wins last week.


Todd County


Tahnee Shaving scored 19 points for C-EB to lead the Braves to a 60-51 victory over Todd County on Saturday night.


After trailing in the first quarter, the Braves allowed Todd County only five points in the second quarter as they put on 17 points to take a 30-19 lead into halftime. The Braves never looked back as they took downed the Lady Falcons 60-51.

Red Cloud


On Thursday, the Braves took on Red Cloud in game two of the home double header against the Crusaders. C-EB took down Red Cloud in a high scoring 82-72 victory. Justice Fire Cloud finished with a game high  33 points and Tahnee Shaving finished with 14 to held lead the Braves to victory.


The Braves had previously beat the Lady Crusaders 65-57 in the fifth place match at LNI.

Bennett County


The Braves hosted the Bennett County Lady Warriors last Tuesday night. The Braves dominated the Lady Warriors, outscoring them 2-1 for a 72-35 win. 13 C-EB players put points on the board toward the victory. Snowy Fire Cloud and Ryia LeBeau led the team with 12 points each.
