Prepare to share your hobbies and interests at the annual Ziebach County 4-H Achievement Day to be held on August 5th at Pioneer Hall!
Students enrolled in 4-H will be showing examples of crafts, gardening, jelly-making, sewing, painting, etc. Community members are also welcome to enter in the Open Class. Exhibit check-in is at 9 a.m. and the judging begins at 9:30 a.m. Anyone can enter!
The Cookie Contest returns this year! To enter, bring a “baker’s dozen” of 13 cookies on a paper plate, wrapped or in a Ziploc bag, with the recipe included. Do not place your name on the bag. Please furnish your name and information when you check in.
Cookies must be checked in by 10 a.m. and the silent auction will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All funds raised go to the Ziebach County 4-H Association to pay for projects, supplies, the free after-school project programs, Shooting Sports expenses, awards, etc.
4-H Achievement entries will be accepted online until July 30.
If you have questions, please reach out to Phoebe or Jacie at the 4-H office at the courthouse.
If you want to go to the state link for information about projects or printing special tags, please visit extension.sdstate.edu/sites/default/files/2021-03/MC-02092.pdf.
This year, each 4-H member may enter two exhibits into each static exhibit sub-category.
