Mrs. Willison’s class celebrated the 100th day of school on February 19. We read books about the 100th day. In the book. The Hundred Hungry Ants, the ants try to get to a picnic. The smallest ant keeps stopping them to make different rows. 1 row of 100, 2 rows of 50, 4 rows of 25, 5 rows of 20, and finally 10 rows of 10. When they get to the picnic all the food is gone. 99 ants are not happy with the littlest ant who kept stopping to put them in rows. The students created these combinations of 100 using unifex cubes. The class had a picnic for lunch to celebrate the 100th day. The class also had 100% attendance that day.
