Scammers target Moreau-Grand Electric customers
According to the Moreau-Grand Electric Cooperative Facebook page, scammers have called MGE customers claiming “they have 45 minutes to pay their utility bill” before their account would be disconnected. Customers are urged not release any information, to hang up immediately, and to call 1-800-952-3158 or 605-865-3511 or 605-964-2977 to report the incident.
Pertussis cases rise in South Dakota
PIERRE, S.D. – Recent reports of community increases in pertussis have the Department of Heath reminding parents to make sure their kids are appropriately immunized.
