Vines finishes as 4th runner up at Junior Snow Queen Pageant



Cheyenne Eagle Butte ninth grader Miranda Vines competed at the South Dakota Junior Snow Queen Pageant held in Aberdeen on January 7, 2017. Miranda was crowned the fourth runner-up. The Junior Snow Queen was crowned Jr. Miss Eagle Butte on December 4. She is the daughter of Jeri and Tommy Vines.

Peek-a-boo



Two whitetail deer yearlings look up while feasting on covered corn east of Eagle Butte along Highway 212. The whitetail herd occuping the surrounding cornfields has grown to well over 200, creating quite the visual scene prompting motorists to stop and observe.
